Additional Minnesota Viking Commentary

The Beast
The Vikings next stop will be at the New Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ versus the Jets.  Now, no disrespect to the Giants defense, but facing Buddy Ryan's "Mini-Me" next week in comparison to facing either the Giants or Bears last night, is really no comparison.  The Jets are simply on another level.  Did you not see what happened last night in New Jersey?  The beast has been released & is now at play & it is awaiting your arrival.

Last night as my son and I watched the inept Giants & Bears, he kept asking, "Dad, is this some sort of record?"  Of course what he was referring to was the sacks.  What I told him was that I've never seen anything like it ... Never!  I know these players.  The names are quite obvious & they've never played the game is such a way.  I've seen breakdowns due to un-nerving injuries, but that was not what happened.  It was as if the coaches & players were being moved like pawns where weaknesses & breakdowns were exploited at will.  These were not physical limitations ... they were like mental screws being twisted within their skulls.

Then, I pondered a thought ... although the Vikings have the week off ... the beast had already been unleashed ... laying in wait within this stadium.  You see, the gods are no longer angry ... they are now clearly seeking their vengeance.  Warning after warning has been disregarded.  Maybe this was their final gesture.

At first, I rubbed my eyes.  Then I asked the question, "Why?  What is behind this?"  Denial is always the first move, which is followed by signs ... unmistakable signs.  When I saw the emergency quarterback walk onto the field there simply was no more room for denial.  Joe Webb is our emergency quarterback.  They will get what they have come for ... one way or another.

This author is out of warnings but his heart bleeds nonetheless.
